My Journey as a Syrian Storyteller in Tech and Advocacy

I never thought I’d become a bridge. But over the years, that’s what I’ve become. A bridge between my home country, Syria, and the world I now navigate. A bridge between refugee stories and tech solutions. Between pain and purpose.

My journey started with a desire to survive. Then it became a desire to speak. Today, it’s about building. I’ve launched startups, told stories, trained youth, and stood on stages I never imagined reaching. But what gives me the most pride is when someone from a forgotten place reads my words and feels seen.

I’m not perfect. I don’t have all the answers. But I carry something valuable: perspective. A perspective shaped by war, exile, rebuilding, and relentless hope. This is what I bring to my blog. And this is what I hope to bring to spaces like the UN General Assembly.

Growing up during conflict taught me the power of words. A simple story can restore dignity, awaken empathy, or even spark action. In a world flooded with information, authenticity stands out. That’s what I aim to offer.

The Journey of Growth

I’ve always believed that technology and storytelling together can change lives. Whether it’s through building AI tools for better healthcare or writing blog posts that speak truth to power, I see my work as part of a bigger mission to connect, to inspire, and to heal.

My blog is not just a platform. It’s a responsibility. Every post is a way to say, “We are still here. We are still dreaming. We still matter.” And if that message can travel from my keyboard to the global stage, then every word is worth it.

I hope the world continues to make room for voices like mine not because they are dramatic, but because they are real. Because behind every policy is a person. And behind every statistic is a story. I want to keep telling those stories, no matter where I am.
