From a small town in the Syrian steppe… to the world.

The most defining element of my story is a paradox: navigating from the small town in Homs, Syria, to joining the technical team at Apple and speaking and participating on global stages like the United Nations, CES, and Web Summit.
My name’s Mohammad Alammar. Over the past decade, I've evolved from a dreamer with limited resources into a founder who reaches a community of over one million followers. I believe technology is only as powerful as the people it empowers.
My work has always lived at the intersection of tech and human resilience. I founded the "Wusool" nonprofit initiative, where I had the privilege of designing and delivering skill-building programs to over 850 young men and women. This dedication to community empowerment earned me the UNDP Social Entrepreneurship Award in 2021, and my focus on innovation led to a 2nd place finish in the NASA Space Apps Challenge for the MENA region.
We carry our roots wherever we go. As a bicultural entrepreneur living in the US, I recognize the importance of using tomorrow's tools to safeguard yesterday's stories. That's why I built miheen.com, a bilingual digital archive preserving the rich heritage of my Syrian hometown. It's a living example of how rigorous tech can protect human memory.
Today, I share my journey not as a highlight reel, but as a blueprint. I was honored to be named among the 1000 Syrian Capacities list , and I use my platforms to show what is possible when relentless drive meets global opportunity. Whether I'm de-escalating a complex technical issue for an Apple customer, building a bilingual digital product, or mentoring a young founder, my mission remains consistent: leveraging technology to elevate the human experience.
Let's connect and build something meaningful.
